CIRRUS STUDIES
INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP FOR
an NSF PIRE-supported research initiative
PIRE Workshop 2019
1/5
This project studies one of the coldest and least understood parts of the atmosphere, the tropical tropopause layer (TTL). New satellite measurements suggest the TTL ice crystal layer is denser than previously thought, resulting in a stronger effect on the Earth's radiation level.
